Well hello again!
Just wanted to give an update in the life of Rugged Grace!! I forgot to post pictures of our family weekend so I figured I would add those in as well! For Labor Day weekend we spent some time at the lake house in Eufaula and enjoyed the amazing weather (#don'tleavemesummer)! We spent one of the days exploring Robber's Cave and doing some rock climbing.
If you've never been to Robber's Cave in eastern Oklahoma I recommend going! They have campsites, lake front, pool, putt-putt golf, horse back riding, walking trails and so much more! We definitely plan on going back when we have more time!
The next night we drove to Rentisville to their annual blues festival.
They had a ton of great acts and some delish frozen wine-a-ritas! JD almost gave one of the vendors a heart attach when he handed over his adult beverage to our son (just to hold for a second!!). They had a good laugh about it afterwards.
Last week we were pretty busy with gigs. We drove to Enid on Wednesday night to play at Shooter's and got to catch up with some old friends and got heckled by a Grumpy Old Man in a top hat (#IWannaBeLikeDallas). If you haven't checked out his song JD wrote for him you should check it out of our Facebook page.
Friday night we played at Vernost Winery in Hennessey who has one of the coolest outdoor areas that we've play at! The picture doesn't do it justice!
Oh and I almost forgot that we had a hat made for JD over the week too!
It was a whole new experience! We went to Cavenders and picked out a hat and they were able to shape and size it to make it uniquely his!
Saturday we played a private part for the good folks in El Reno. It's always a good time with them because you never know what kind of shenanigans they are going to be up to!
I also wanted to thank everybody for their input on the poll of our new logo design. I dropped off the shirts this week to be printed! These were the two winners!
